Where to start?

Where to start?

So what is this all about anyway? Why was I exploring AI tools around the topic of raising your vibration (see previous post)?

Well that's the thing you see. I want to untangle the maze around this journey for me. This is, for me a journey, a quest, to raise my vibration. Without patchouli. But what does that even mean? I still don't know how to explain it.

But even if I don't know how to explain it, I do have a strong sense that I know what it means, living in a dirty hellhole picking one's nose and fulminating in resentment about the fact that you aren't the golden child of the family, despite being in your 60s, that, is low vibration for example. Drinking paint-stripper and stumbling around the streets every night trying to find someone to kick the excrement out of, that, is low vibration for example...And so perhaps what I will try to do here is to describe the things that I understand as practices that raise one's vibration. And perhaps at the end of it, by getting an overview of these practices, I will understand, and perhaps have communicated what it means to "raise my vibration."

The earliest writings on this website treat of my first experience with Prolon, and the first Youtube video that I made was on that subject. This wasn't my first experience with fasting, but it was my first experience with Prolon. I was determined, I wanted to give up cigarettes, I wanted to try Prolon to see if it allowed me to live more normally than I could on a water fast and I wanted to document it, both for accountability, and also with a view to sharing my experiences and my journey with others, in the hope that it might have a positive impact. Perhaps let's start exploring the maze of the concept of "raising one's vibration" there, with Fasting.

Fasting

Fasting has always formed a key part of our major spiritual traditions across the globe. Having fasted often two to four times a year over the past ten years, I had always felt that after a fast my energy was was lighter, and my vibration "higher" somehow, though I never thought this consciously, nor did I try to put it into words. I just felt that I existed with more lucidity and luminosity afterwards somehow. It made sense to me also that fasting was part of our major spiritual traditions, not just on the basis of its requirement of discipline and asceticism, but precisely because of this increased lucidity and luminosity that results from the practice.

It could be the autophagy, your energy runs clearer because of all of the scuffed and shabby cells of the body have been cannibalised. What's left is just a more beautifully efficient and well-oiled system that runs with less static. It could, therefore, be "purely" "material".

It could also be because, at the end of a fast, you have become a being who has overcome one of the most fundamental human urges, the urge for food. In a way, it's a soul refining journey because of the simple fact that the survival instinct gnaws at ones insides, creates all kinds of deep urgencies and stresses, and despite this, with fasting, there is still an executive override that happens. This override allows for such deep and fundamental and primordial wiring to be countermanded by something more conscious than a survival instinct. This is a kind of metacognition that can delay gratification and endure discomfort and even suffering, in the interests of something higher.
